Lower storage costs drives increased data redundancy

At R-Tech Systems, we have been taking advantage of the dropping prices in storage costs to push hard drive redundancy in mainstream computers systems. If you are running a business, you probably keep accounting data, vital documents, and other important data on your hard drive. Even if you back up your computer up regularly, a hard drive failure can disrupt your business while you try to get your data restored and everything running normally. The solution - set up a RAID1 hard drive mirroring, so you have two hard drives simultaneously storing your data. Then if one drive fails the second continues running your computer; meanwhile you get the failed drive replaced, and everything runs smoothly throughout.
Recently we have been selling new computer systems with the drives configured in a mirroring (RAID1) Array. Take for instance the "High End Workstation/Home Office PC" shown on our website; with dual 500GB hard drives, a Quad Core CPU, 4GB of RAM, it runs just $832. You won't find this feature in computers you buy off the shelf from the big brands - just another reason to buy your next computer from R-Tech Systems. Give us a call or email us when you need to upgrade or buy a new computer.
